Hello! My name is David. Originally from Chicago, I am a recent marketing graduate from Biola Crowell School of Business and living in LA. Over the past several years I have been driven to refine myself through challenge. Whether that meant taking a year working with non-profits in multiple Latin American countries, or taking on roles of leadership within my academic and church communities, I have gained valuable experience and skill sets that have formed a passion for working hard to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

Ever since I was little I have loved to make movies. It has been a hobby I have kept to the side for most of my life. Recently however, I have leaned into the gifts I have in film. I believe film presents the opportunity to capture the experiences of the world in a powerful way. When done in the right way, film changes people. I strive to use film to teach- whether that be through the experience of art, the beauty of story, or a triggered emotion. You can click on the Film tab above to check out some personal projects I have completed over the last year.

Got to work on a dream project these last two weeks. More than that, I got to do it with my dear friend @auspuckett. There’s a lot more to say, but it was a privilege to meet these guys and begin capturing some of their story.

If you wanna hear some wisdom from Lindsay keep reading.
After mer took this pic we were all sitting on the log when a boat came by breaking the "no wake zone" rule. Lindsay asked why they weren't obeying the no wake zone to which I ignorantly responded that we're all sinners and need Jesus.
She thought for a moment and then explained to me that they weren't sinning by disobeying the no wake zone because it's not one of Jesus' laws.
She's 5. And she understands what I so often forget. There's a difference between man's law and Jesus' law. We mix these up a lot in the church and it's important to know the difference. Jesus summed it up in Mark 12- love God and love people. Thanks, Lindsay.
